Christina has long been captivated by the art of hospitality. What began with cherished childhood memories of family dinners and hosting evolved into a career defined by refinement, precision, and passion for the guest experience.
At just twenty, she entered the restaurant world, quickly distinguishing herself through a natural talent for service and a discerning palate. Her early exploration of spirits—fueled by distillery visits and a rare collection built at home—ultimately led her to wine, where she found a lifelong pursuit of excellence. Christina went on to earn her Certified Sommelier designation with the Court of Master Sommeliers, complementing it with advanced training through Ian D’Agata’s 3IC specialist courses. She continues to deepen her expertise through WSET studies, master classes, global conferences, and immersive winery visits.
Her career spans leadership roles across Toronto’s most celebrated dining rooms, from Beverage Director to General Manager. Her first iconic restaurant was Origin, MasterChef judge Claudio Aprile’s global tapas restaurant. Building a formidable team that went on to infiltrate the best restaurants in Toronto. From there she was a key part of the team at Sofia Yorkville before joining Liberty Entertainment Group, where she has since shaped some of the city’s most distinctive wine programs. At BlueBlood Steakhouse, housed within historic Casa Loma, she elevated the wine list to new heights, later opening Blue Bovine Steak & Sushi House and launching the exclusive Bovine Wine Club. Today, as Wine Director, Christina brings an exacting eye, modern sensibility, and an unwavering dedication to building dynamic sommelier teams.
Beyond her professional achievements, Christina embodies the lifestyle she curates: a devotee of international travel, an avid cyclist, and half-marathon runner, always in the company of her high school sweetheart, Alex. Her journey reflects not only a mastery of her craft, but a commitment to the elegance and joy that define exceptional hospitality.
